Tom Cable went on a Sacramento radio station (pretty far out of earshot of Raider Nation) and said he expected to back next season.
Apparently Al Davis was LIVID. Instead of firing Cable at the end of the season, he just prefers to do nothing except get pissed off when people can't guess what he's thinking.
Main sticking point- Al still LIKES Jamarcus Russell. Cable doesn't. Cable's no head coach (oh, wait, yes he is), but who in their worst nightmare would want to stand on the burning deck of this poor excuse for a pirate franchise?
In a related development, Scot Ostler of the SF Chronicle reports that the Raiders are changing their colors to Silver, Black, and Livid.
