points off turnovers, allowed: 86, CHIEFS
Wow, Chiefs, 86 points allowed off turnovers. That's a Doormat stat that will win you the Mouldy Carpet any year. Saints defense is clearly the demise of that franchise. The Cowboy game, with all the turnovers (and Romo now has 18 interceptions) was quite a performance. It's funny, really, the Cowboys and Giants both look like doormat teams when they play, but they win, especially the Giants. I guess it shows that if things went just a little the other way in terms of luck, the Giants could be 3-5.
ReplyDeleteBut that not a TD reception at the end of the game was such a groaner. I am sure glad I am not a Cowboys fan, because it would have been painful.
At this point it looks like nobody is going to touch the Gags or Cheeps in the AFC and Carolina is definitely on track to take the NFC. But their schedule might be their undoing:
Washington - W
Denver- L
Tampa Bay- W
Philadelphia- L
Kansas City- W
San Diego- L
Oakland- W
New Orleans- W
There are definitely 5 opportunities for them to win a game. Pansies will have to bring out their worst in special teams and defense if they want to get into the Doormat Bowl this year.
Last game with New Orleans might decide the NFC Doormat champ.
It's going to be an exciting finish!
Yeah, the muderer's row of the AFC West. Good luck getting through that without a victory. I think Aints-Pansies should be for all the marbles, but they'll both have at least 3-4 victories when they get there.
ReplyDeleteRomo has 13 interceptions. Put your glasses on.
