Sorry about that title, but I hear Google indexes the title and lots of people are searching for betting odds on football so I included lots of betting tems, NFL, Week, and I like weather balloons so I included those as well.
Anyway, the frozen turkey is spinning on the basement floor--which is a sticky mess after the exploding beer bottle celebration when the Rams beat the Seahawks--and here are the predictions for Week 8 in the NFL.

The Oracle has spoken! Gentlemen, make your predictions!
Raiders-Browns is the battle between the 2 teams with the worst records for the last 11, years, have not been in the playoffs for same, and only the Bills have gone longer (14 years no playoffs).
ReplyDeleteA real battle shaping up at the Mistake by the Lake.
Edge to Lose: Raiders
Vikings-Bucs
Another nail-biter for the Bootineers. When will they get an easy game? Vikes awful good at helping other teams win. Bucs coming off a bye week, which means they will be even more out of focus than ever. Vikings don't have much focus anyway. this is so close.
Edge to Lose: VIKINGS
Jets- Bills: not picking the Jets to lose is just not smart. But the Bills looked up for taking a defeat last week against the Yikings, so it should be another close shave.
Edge to Lose: Jets
Dolphins at Jags: The Floppers won last week. The JAGS won last week. Which team has more moxie to avoid the two game winning streak? That's a no-brainer.
Edge to lose: JAGS
Titans at Texans: could this be any more enticing? The Titans dodged the two game winning streak, and have had nail-biters against the 'Skins and the Jags the last two weeks. Texans, on the other hand, finally made losing record (3-4) last week and appear to be rounding into shape. This one is a toss-up. I can't make any team with Charlie Whitehurst at QB the fave.
Edge to Lose: TITANS
Deadskins at Cowboys: Cowboys have become a monster team suddenly. Will Redskins run a 3rd string QB out there again, going with the Doormat Division trend? If they do, this one's in the bag.
EDGE to lose: DEADSKINS
LIONS at FALCONS: Matthew Sheppard licks his chops at the Failcons secondary, and throws off his back foot all day.
Edge to Lose: LIONS
RAMS at CHIEFS: Chiefs won last week. RAMS won last week. Who has the better edge to not win two in a row?
Edge to lose: RAMS
14-4? Two safeties?
