Titanics 5-0 Run From the Basement

The Tennessee Titanics may be on their way to one of the greatest comebacks in history as they run screaming from the NFL Cellar with a mid-season 5-0 run after starting 0-6.

On their schedule they now face the Colts, who have been winning by the skin of their teeth and are due to fall, especially to an energized Titanics. After that Tennessee should beat at home the Lambs, Floppers and Seahags. The only likely loss left on the schedule is the Chargers, who are looking really good right now, and TT will play them on the road.

That could put the Titanics at 9-7 at the end of the season. Maybe even a wildcard.

  1. I wouldn't want to play the Titanics right now. Colts are in trouble.
They shredded the Niners when they played us, and we almost beat the Colts.

  2. I'm going the other way on this one. The Tonics barely beat the Cards with Leinart at the wheel. Manning is a little better driver. The Colts have a considerable pass rush that comes into play if TT is playing catch up. Chris Johnson is the x factor, but I see a statement game coming from the Colts. 38-17 Colts in a game that is over at half time.

  4. Hey, what is this? a Discussion of teams on WINNING streaks? Don't you know where you are? Honestly....
Apparently Titans turnaround is the best ever. Nobody's ever lost six then won five. !!
The Colts have a hard time blowing anybody out. It's going to be a great game.

I actually watched the entire Steelers-Ravens game, primarily because I was bushed and flopped on the sofa, and did not get up. Fun watching Dennis Dixon get to start. He almost won, but I'm behind the Nevermores anyway. Dixon the best 3rd string quarterback in the league.

  5. I made it to the top of the cellar steps, could smell the Turkey in the oven, but reality just sank in and it's back to the mouldy basement and my Bohemian beer by the quart. I think there might be some old Viceroys with enough butt for a few more puffs.
